MARILYN JELFS Drawing has always been a hobby but it was many years later when the excitement and trials of painting in watercolour became a passion. Pastel followed sometime later and these 2 media evolved to be my most favoured. Any subject can appeal to me on the day but I find myself drawn to paint children at play, landscapes and seascapes. Trips at home and abroad are also a source of inspiration. The subject often dictates the medium it is painted in. I live and paint in Yankalilla and exhibit in the pharmacy at Normanville and Gallery 88 in Yankalilla. I participate in various other exhibitions during the year.
